In order to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the strategic deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government to deepen school local cooperation and promote local economic and social development, on October 10th, the research and investigation team of the Fashion Art College of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts conducted an on-site inspection of the clothing manufacturing industry chain in Qichun County, and held a grand ceremony to sign the administrative school enterprise strategic cooperation agreement with the Qichun County People’s Government and Hubei Hongyihao Clothing Co., Ltd. at the Qichun Investment Promotion Bureau Industry Promotion Center. This signing marks a deep cooperation between the government, schools, and enterprises in talent cultivation, technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and other aspects, deepening the integration and development of higher education and local economy and society, promoting the close integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and jointly promoting the high-quality development of local economy and our university’s education industry.

The research and investigation team visited the clothing manufacturing industry chain in Qichun Enterprise Park, and gained a deep understanding of the development history, production scale, main products, and market positioning of the clothing factory. Subsequently, the team witnessed the entire production process of Hongyihao Clothing Co., Ltd. and immersed themselves in the production mode of multi system application integration and efficient collaboration. The inspection team further experienced the modern clothing manufacturing mode of intelligence and automation by visiting the well-equipped intelligent manufacturing clothing production line and world-class sewing equipment.

At the meeting, Dean Wu Ping stated that Hubei Institute of Fine Arts has always adhered to the goal of cultivating academic outstanding talents, compound innovative and entrepreneurial talents, and applied industry service talents with both high quality and practical ability. This collaboration with Qichun County People’s Government and Hubei Hongyihao Clothing Co., Ltd. marks a solid step forward for our university in deepening the integration of industry and education, promoting collaborative cooperation between government, enterprises, and universities. This cooperation aims to jointly create a new path for talent cultivation, contribute talent resources and wisdom to the vigorous development of local economy more effectively, and build a high-quality practical training platform and broad employment bridge for students of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts.
