Suddenly remembering that summer, it must be the most unforgettable time in one's life. It is arguably a season exclusive to youth, a convergence point of farewells and reunions. Everyone has a different impression of summer, and for me, it is hot and beautiful. Shimmering waves are my impression of summer, with rippling lake water and layers of tree shadows, vibrant with greenery. Wandering in the alleyways, searching for yangmei, loquat, watermelon, and mung bean ice, all of which are feasts of summer. The scorching ground, the noisy cicadas, the cold drink stalls on the street, the complaints about the dog days of summer, all engraved in circles of memories. This is the inspiration behind my artwork "Impressions of Summer," and I want to use fiber materials to express these feelings.   To convey the sense of color gradients and interplay, the first thing that comes to my mind is embroidery. I will use special textured materials on embroidered patches to express the shimmering waves. By layering and blending the colors of the embroidery threads, I will depict the layers of overlapping. The beads sewn on will serve as "highlight points," creating a fresh and vibrant atmosphere throughout the artwork. I hope this piece can convey to viewers a sense of vitality and evoke beautiful memories of summer.
